Yeah, the big news is Andre's baptism happened! Greatest success this week definitely. He was early for the service and the confirmation, very excited, and is SO solid. I am grateful to have gotten to find, teach, and see him get baptized. Another plus was getting to witness, its always nice to get in the ocean! I got to do the confirmation, and it was a nice experience. I felt very confident with what I said. He had a lot of resistance this last week before his baptism. He got anti'd a lot, his best friend pretty much rejected him, his car broke down twice, and a few other things. When we asked him about it, he simply told us he didn't care, he knew it was all true, (especially the Book of Mormon) and that he would never go back to his old ways. A great man indeed! Andre is next to E. Little, Bro. George is next to me.
We are still working hard, still seeing success, but I feel that I probably won't get anymore baptisms. Not being negative, I know its possible, but I don't see it happening, but I have seen greater miracles before... anyways, Its getting harder to focus at times, but I'm still fine for the time.
A really funny thing happened this week, I got a letter that was sent April 24th 2014. It had gotten miss-sent to Thailand somehow (stupid postal workers!) That was a good laugh! I got this on the 30th of January, 2015. You do the math, its a long time from when it was sent.

We had a great stake/area conference for church. After doing the confirmation and stuff we tuned into a broadcast for SLC that was for the whole Caribbean. President Boyd K. Packer, Elder Jeffery R. Holland, Bonnie Oscarson (YW general president), and Wilford W. Andersen all spoke to us, and it was a great time except our feed sucked so we missed half the talks, but the part we did hear was nice.
So we went to the Argyle waterfalls for a hike this morning, and then after we drove around the circumference of the island. The waterfall was nice, had a good little hike to get to it and then had a succession of about 4 major falls, with a lot of little ones. Sadly, we couldn't swim in them, but I did take the opportunity to sit under one of the falls as it pummeled my back and head with cool fresh rainforest water. We climbed up it with Elder Goddard and got to some of the higher ones. A scary thing happened at one point as I was climbing onto a rock I placed my hand ahead of me to climb up and put it about a foot away from a 5 foot black snake that was sun bathing on the rock. It jumped off the rock, into the water, and slithered off into the bush, but it scared me. Thankfully it didn't bite me. BTW there are actually no poisonous snakes on this Island, so I would have been fine even if it had bit me. The water fall was gorgeous.

After the hike we took the opportunity to drive the rest of the way around the island, stopping by the paradise villages of speyside, and charlotteville. The road was twisty, skinny, covered by partially cleaned landslides, interrupted by giant tarzan like trees, and very time consuming to drive, but it was worth it. I wish we could go scuba diving there! after we made it back, we did our emailing, and that's as far as we have gotten!
so that's all for the week, wishing you the best from paradise!

can you see the house out on that island?
So while walking through the town, we happened upon this vagrant cocaine addict, and not to be mean, but we had to talk a picture. Its pretty funny, thought you may like it!
.... they should just show pictures of addicts like this in anti-drug literature, it would probably scare kids off of using them.
