Well, thats why I am emailing on a wednesday, because we finally got let out of our lockdown. We were locked in for 3 days, which is fine. It was a good chance to catch up on letters and sleep, neither of which ended up happening (sorry to those who wanted letters)
We had loads of fun though, we traveled to the bigger apartment overlooking Grand Anse and had 6 elders in that place, and it had A/C and hot water, which was lovely. We watched church movies and played games. We played Risk, I won once, we played monopoly, uno, chess, blink, dominion, and other games. We all didnt shave, and I got a nice little scruff, but its kinda fair colored and not noticeable. There were beautiful sunsets and we did a pretty good job of only breaking a couple things in the apartment. Hey, you lock 6 guys in for 3 days and stuff happens. A curtain rod bracket made of wood was broken when and elder got in the hammock that was attached to it too quickly and a light bulb was broken from an errant nerf basketball shot in a game of horse. There was some intense tie trading as well!
The time flew by too fast, and I did relax a lot, although I did lose sleep. It was nice, but I missed the work in some ways and I am excited to get back to helping people find the most important thing on the earth.
Oh another awesome thing that happened on sunday was our member who had traveled to england got back, she brought back some legit Jaffa Cakes for me! so I got to try my first Jaffa Cake!
I hope you all are well, Stay strong!
