Our baptism didn't happen this week with Curtis due to his smoking, but so far as we can tell, he should be good for this upcomingSaturday. Its been almost a week since he has smoked, so im pretty confident in him. Plus, his attitude has changed a lot. Before he would always commit to stop smoking by the next morning, giving himself a small space to smoke if he wanted. he never gave up his remaining cigarettes on the few times he had them, but this last time he committed to stop then and then and he crumpled up and threw away his last cigarette.
The Point Fortin Branch is doing really well too, with these 4 baptisms we have had the last 3 weeks there is a great spirit and feeling going on there, with all the recent converts being friendly and leaving behind all the old bad feelings of the older members. Its making the older members more active. We have a good set of things going on here, with more solid people preparing for baptism this next transfer.
Sis. Kunjal told us a really sweet story. She hasn't told her family that she was baptized yet (she is kinda funny that way) and when her grandson saw her for the first time after her baptism and confirmation, the first thing he asked was "how are you looking different!?" He noticed the change in her countenance without knowing anything of her baptizing. That is a cool testimony builder on the truth of this work and of Christ's gospel! Ordinances truly need to be administered by priesthood authority.
Here is a BEAUTIFUL sunset, to make you all jealous. Sorry, i can never resist.

I came up with a good analogy for ones testimony. It can be compared to a potted plant. If you put that in a dark corner, it shrivels and withers away. However If you put it out in the burning sun, the blowing wind, and the pelting rain for all to see, it can grow and develop into the beautiful thing it is meant to be.
We got our transfer calls, no one is moving here in Point, but we have a few people in the zone moving around. I suspect next transfer I will leave, but we shall see. I have been in trinidad for almost a year now, its sure gone fast. I have 7 months left on my mission, that is very little time for how fast the past 7 have gone.
But thats my week, and I hope for good news to report the following week from this.
