Yeah, so in a nutshell, my companion E. Sorensen has not been able to make it into Trinidad yet, and is staying in Barbados for the moment. I don't get told much, but he should be coming in later this week. hopefully. So, I have been in a triceratops with the other 2 point missionaries, Elder Little and Elder Aukusitino. We have had a fun time, but I feel really out of sync not being in my area and not being able to work in my area. Because of that, not a lot has been progressing in my side of Point, but the other side is doing great!

I enjoyed the zone conference this past week. Elder Claudio D. Zivic from the Seventy came down and instructed us I especially liked the part about having proper mindsets. I'm going to ponder a lot on this and how I can both realize a negative mindset and improve on it. I have been struggling to find out why over the course of my mission things have been hard to overcome and change in, and I feel that information on mindsets really answered my question, now I know what the problem has been, and now I can work on learning how to fix limiting mindsets. A great Comparison was drawn between breaking the 4 minute mile and how after one guy did it a bunch of other followed suit, because their mindset changed and they knew it was possible. How often do we let our "mindset" limit us?
Here is the Trinidad South Zone with our Mission President, Senior couple, and Elder Zivic, all with their wives. Mission President on the left, Elder Zivic in the Middle, and Elder and Sister Bateman on the right.
After Zone Conference we got some delicious doubles at the Curepe stand, some of the best in Trinidad. I'm taking the pic, so im not there, sorry. Doubles are delicious!

I learned a cool thing this week about the difference between the soul, and the spirit. I always thought they were synonymous and interchangeable, but they are actually different. Look at Gen 2:7 and D&C 88:15, and Alma 40:11. The Spirit and Body and separate, and when they are together they consist of a living human soul. That is the soul, the combo of the mortal body and an immortal spirit. Our Soul's are mortal right now as they can perish, but they become immortal after the resurrection, as our body will forever be united with our spirit. Its cool, because in EVERY part of the Book of Mormon that uses either soul or spirit, its consistent with this teaching. There is little way in my eyes that Joseph Smith could have made up a book with the small education he had at the time that is SO consistent, in all ways, many more than just this one.
That's all for this week, I hope God watches over you all, especially as you turn to him and counsel with him in all your doings. (Alma 37:37)
