We had a great week! We had an uplifting trade-off with the zone leaders, got 41 lessons taught in the week, and we had it all finished off with the baptism of Bernadette (she has been being taught since april, so its about time) on Saturday and 3 investigators at church on Sunday. We also have found an awesome new golden investigator, Andre. He loves reading the BoM, loved the baptismal service, and loved church. His date is for January 31st, we are really excited for him! What a great week to be in the Lord's service. I know not every week goes this well, so I am trying to enjoy this one the best I can. Of course it always great to be in the mission field, no matter the outward results, but its especially great to see success and fruits of ones labors.
The Zone Leaders came up on monday night on the ferry, and we had a great trade off. I went with Elder Bates, and Elder Little was with Elder Brown. The nice thing is since I'm the driver now I didn't have to walk at all, the others did. We also got a fun picture of us all on the roof, and we dropped them off at the airport on wednesday morning. We lost a bit of sleep talking too. Its OK as long as we are in bed by 10:30, there is no rule on when you need to actually be asleep. needless to say, we were tired the next day, but it was worth it for our only interaction with another missionary companionship outside of Tobago for 6 weeks.
We now have a Wendy's on the island! but its really far down in crown point, so we are waiting for a good time to go check it out.
We got bored during one of our companion studies and we made our own version of angry birds and we messed around with that for a while. We drew a face on an inflated latex glove, put a rubber band under a chair, and shot down bottles and markers. Silly, and probably not the most productive, but still fun!
Thats all for this week, peace out!
