What a slow week. It was really hot this week, and most of our appointments fell through, leaving us to be finding in the heat of the day. Long days. The record Temperature was recorded, 92 degrees and 80 something humidity. We may have nearly died. Another reason it was slow is Carnival is coming up this 2 weeks from now and everyone is starting to party a lot and Grenville was shut down 2x over the weekend for music events. This P-day we tried to get some monkeys! sadly they weren't around today, we will need to try later. I got some funny moments of holding bananas out and shouting "Come" and other monkey sounds. I wasn't just being a fool, its how you are supposed to do it. It was hilarious.
After the monkey attempt failed we went and checked out the Grand Etang lake, which was pretty cool as well, especially for how high up it is. around the lake, you know how much it rains in a year? around 120 inches in some spots. that is a lot of rain!
Our zone conference was nice, if not a little short cause the airlines here messed up getting our president and area 70 on time. It was nice but had lots of sad things in it, as we got the news that our beloved senior couple, the browns, are leaving (left now) due to emergency situation at home that I won't go into here. So now we are left to our zone leader and sister missionaries to handle all the immigration, finances, phone bills, and some branch things. Might get interesting. Also, EFY got banned, so only MoTab and orchestral/classic music allowed from here on out. And our mission still doesn't have an official mission nurse as of yet. :D
This might be a very interesting week for reasons I will explain next week if they happen, so stay on the edge of your seat! I hope you all a great week and please be safe out there.
