I am very happy to get to write you today and let you know about the success we have been having here. We have been working very hard and have 27 lessons to show for it this week, with 3 people progressing toward their baptism dates. Curtis came to church, Debbie came past sacrament meeting, and Sis. Kunjal was ill. so she has a legitimate excuse. It is so cool to see the Lord open so many doors for us and allow us to teach so many people as I have been focused on the work to a new level for myself. I am really getting lost in the work at the moment, but I probably will say that again in the future as I discover a new level "of being lost in the work." We really were blessed this week cause so few of our appointments fell through, we are currently having a struggle to see everyone, and our days are usually packed 2 days out!
We had a cool experience with a drop lesson in which we dropped a lady and testified to her about her choices not to accept further light and knowledge. I felt the words just flowing easily from me, and I had perfect eloquence and diction and I spoke on subjects that I normally stumble through. The spirit was there and I feel that it witnessed what we had said. We had done our duty and her choice was not on our garments. I was sad she chose to reject further knowledge of Christ and to stay in her church, but I was happy that I had fulfilled my calling to the fullest, at least to this one individual.
Me and Elder Anderson continue to work things out, we are getting more used to each other as we go. Today we decided that we were going to buy some legos to have some fun with but the toy store down here only have chinese brand knock offs so, I am debating if I want to spend the money and time today to travel to San'do and buy some legit ones or not. Perhaps wanting to buy legos would be childish, but I would have fun tinkering with them, plus thats plenty nostalgia.
I tried making my own Aloe drink this week. I cut up and peeled some Aloe we got, and put it in some lime tang mix. It actually is really nice, and supposedly good for your digestive system. I like the texture.
My camera was acting broken yesterday, it got damp from being in my bag and ALL of the rain we have been having lately made it really humid, so It was acting up, but i stuck it in some rice and its back to normal now. That was a scare, I love that camera! (thanks mom!)
Zone conference is this week, so we are going to be in Valsayn on Thursday, and I get to have an interview with the mission president, that is something I am really looking forward to. A weird thing is after this ZC I will only have 2 left. Freaky!
I wish you all to be safe and healthy, both physically and spiritually.
