We got our transfer calls this week, guess where I am going? I am going to serve in Grenville, Grenada, again! I really am ok with that, but after this transfer this will be 1/4th of my mission in one area, as my 6 month mark is at the end of this transfer. goes too fast. Its not that I don't like this area, I just want to see other areas and enjoy more of the mission than Grenada. If I serve on Grenada another transfer past this one then I will start to be unhappy about it. I am going to be serving with elder Regis again, which is great. He is going to be the district leader actually and as its his first time being in leadership he is nervous. The highlights of this week were Elder Regis got Dear John'ed, we knocked a house down for a service project, My toe hurts like the dickens, and we are making no headway with our current investigators.
the house we knocked down was rotten and needed to be knocked down and so we spent 3 hours with hammers and pry bars knocking it down. It was super fun and hard work too, I got a little sun stroke as a result but I am fine. Termites and rot had DESTROYED that thing, we just kinda had to knock it over with a little persuasion. I got to deal the final blow, which was epic. Its nice to take a small break from walking and talking and to get to do some hard labor and get out some frustration.
Elder Regis was a complete pill this whole week with a super short temper as he was dumped by his GF. stupid girlfriends, only a distraction out here and they just take away from the work. I am glad I don't have any distractions of that sort, its hard enough to focus as it is.
My toe hurts because I finally succumbed to Elder Regis' plea's to wrestle and on the first 10 seconds he got to excited and we both ended up on the ground and my foot was hurting me. I don't really know what happened to it exactly but from what I can tell, he stepped on my middle toe on my right foot really hard and then our combined weight was on my foot as he swung me down and it hyper extended the joint on my big toe. I think. Anyways, my middle toe is bruised, not swollen, but hurts to touch, and my big toe's joint aches when i move it in any direction, especially upwards. I don't think anything is broken as nothing is swollen but I limp a little bit every now and then. I think I will ask the nurse about it if it doesn't improve by the end of this week, but I figure it will.
We didn't have any investigators at church the other day, and only 5 members. It was fun though cause I conducted my first sacrament meeting which was nerve wracking. James is still doing great and came to church as well.
Not anything else really, except we climbed a big hill near Grenville and got some sweet pictures of the area, those are what I included today.
Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes, and have a good week!
