Elder Cox is getting transfered to Valencia, and I am getting a new missionary who I barely know anything about. His name is E. Anderson, and he has been out about 3 transfers. I am still District Leader here, so thats cool.
Our successes this week come from Sis. Kunjal coming to church for the 3rd time in a row, and even telling us she is going to help another investigator of ours come too who also came to church on sunday, this time for the first time.
The dog we helped save a while back died, and a next one too from an infection so we had a cremation for them on Saturday. That was sad. Tires work decent for cremation.
I got to have a cool conversation with a less active member about coin collecting. it was really fun. He gave me some old Trinidad coins, and i gave him a 2 dollar us bill that i had. he thought it was fake at first cause it was so crisp! he had an english coin from 1835!
My bike had a bit of issues this week, the chain got stuck in the rim behind the gears and so it took us 30 mins to fix it. After finally getting it unstuck after taking the whole rear end apart, my companion hucked the tire at the ground in victorious frustration. it bounced right back at him and nailed him in the chest. Super funny! I laughed so hard, it helped lighten the mood. The next day the chain broke from a bent link that occured while it was stuck. we got that fixed and all is well for the moment.
For p-day today we biked all the way to Icocas (spelling?) point on the very south western tip of trindad. We could see venezuela very easily. It was a super hard bike ride, and I am exhausted. basically we biked for about 6-7 hours straight through, on the beach there, and on the road back. We did it though, I havent calculated the mileage it was yet but it was easily over 35 miles. My seat hurts! near the end we rode through the "7 levels of the coconut tree forest" (Elf reference) and there were just coconut trees as far as the eye can see. Really memorable!
the last picture is a funny one, and its a spelling fail. instead of a beauty salon they have a beauty saloon. I guess you can get drunk and have your toes done at the same time. ;) Not really, but its just funny. No one noticed, or cared enough to do anything about it.
Thats all I have for this week, I will have to get a pic of my next comp next week. Stay sweet all of you, and until next time!
